Congratulations Candidates!

My hearty congratulations to each of you who stepped up to run in the Republican Primary and to all who will continue to run in the Run-Offs, as well as all our WINNERS.

We have a lot to be proud of as a party:

Record number of Republican Candidates in Travis County (16 on the ballot)

A Record number of voters in the Primary

More excitement in the media about Republican candidates than in many election cycles past

We also need to reach out to each other to congratulate, make amends and move together in planning our strategy for victories in the Run Offs and the General Election in November.

Remember...as I have said on numerous occasions, we have 3 days to get over our losses, decide how we are going to re-engage and take the Democrats to the matt in November!

For now, savor the victories and reach out to each other in the party. We're all on the same team. Please do not forget that especially if you are in a Run-Off. When it's all over, the ones we need to engage in all out battle are the Democrats.
